Food Grade Magnetic Drive Pump with SS Pump Head – Wort Pump
Pump head and pump come seperate. We do this as you get to keep the other head as spear. To change pump head all is required is to simply remove screws and take the poly head off and replace with SS head and put screws back in place to secure new head.

What makes this pump different to the other one offered is the 1/2″ screw on fittings. These fittings allow for 1/2″ 2 piece or 3 piece ball valve to be attached to the pump to control liquid flow out of the pump. It is not recommended to restrict or attempt to control flow into the pump.
Magnetic Drive and Food Grade means it has many benefits in the brewery: Won’t aerate your wort, helping to reduce hot side aeration. Being magnetic drive, only the food grade plastic pump head comes in contact with your wort. Pump straight from the bottom of your brewing pot.

This pump is food grade and built to handle any boiling wort. The impeller housing is made from polysulfone which is tough and built to handle up to 120C. The magnetic drive acts as a clutch allowing the user to put back pressure on the pump to slow down flow. This pump is not a self priming pump so it is important to keep it below the level of your brew kettle. Built to handle elevated temperatures for long periods of time. Because it is magnetic it ensures no lubricated bearings are in contact with the liquid at all, therefore there is no chance of contamination of your liquid. Simply ideal for home brewing.
