95L NANO Vessel Domed Copper Lid, Clamp & Gasket
This is where our NANO lids step up and we add a 4″ Tri Clover ferrule to the top of the lid as well as a 1.5″ Tri Clover Ferrule off set from the middle of the lid. We do this as the stills get bigger for this size kettle and we match for this reason. The 1.5″ Tri Clover ferrule is placed strategically for use as either a dry hopping pot, if the lid is used as a steam hood, or a pressure relief valve/safety valve, for inclosed distilling networks where pressure maybe a risk for the user.
NANO Vessel domed lids can be used for distilling purposes or for steam hood contructions. This 95L NANO Brewery Copper domed lid comes with a 1.5″ ferrule off set from the centre of the lid & a 4″ ferrule mount welded on the top of the lid so our new range of distilling condensers can be tri clamped to the ferrule.
Additionally the StillFlex stills can form a steam condensor that can also be mounted to the lid. This listing is for a copper domed lid but the NANO Vessel domed lids also come in 304SS.
The lid is constructed from 1.5 – 2mm thick copper so it is tuff and solid to hold the weight of distilling condensers. This lid is not a tin can nore is it thin and cheap like other kettle or boiler lids on the market. We have made the lids strong and tuff to handle the weight of condensers of various size and constructions but also to handle knocks and drops that occur in a busy brewery/distillery setting.
