Without a doubt, this is one of our most popular offerings—despite never being formally advertised. Originally developed as a custom design, it has steadily gained traction across a wide range of distilleries.
This still is highly regarded for its versatility, making it ideal for producing both brown and white spirits. It is particularly popular among gin and vodka distillers, as it performs exceptionally well with pre-produced ethanol.
Under Australian excise law administered by the Australian Taxation Office, licensed excise manufacturers are required to hold a manufacturer license to produce, process, or refine excisable alcohol. This includes the re-distillation of purchased ethanol, which must be conducted on a licensed premise and properly recorded for excise purposes. In many cases, distillers reprocess ethanol to meet product definitions, classification requirements, and target purity levels—typically above 80% ABV. This still is specifically designed to support those compliance requirements, with the capability to achieve up to 95% ABV.
One of its key advantages is its dual functionality. It delivers efficient reflux distillation while also enabling pot distillation at the final stage. This effectively allows for a double distillation process within a single run—hence the name “Done-&-Done” still.
