2 Vessel & 3 Vessel Pilot Breweries
Cheeky Peak Brewery has been making 3 vessel systems for over 6 years now, so we know what works. Putting together an effective 3 Vessel system is what we do and we are the leaders in it, We don't just sell the stuff we know the stuff hence we can advise and make any 3V you like and we can take you through using it from end-to-end. Many retailers sell certain vessels but making them work for you and your needs or situation is another thing, so give us a buz before you purchase as we will match a system to your needs and your within the boundaries of your limitations (limitations maybe power, time, location, money etc etc).
When buying a 3 vessel system:
The biggest advantage of a 3 vessel (3V) system is the amount of wort it can produce in a 7-10 hour brew day. With a 3V you can be mashing a batch and boiling a batch at the same time hence you can double the amount of wort produced in a shorter time period then a single vessel or what we call a 2V as there is no such thing as a single vessel. In light of this a 3V system needs quick heating time in the HLT and in the Boil Kettle as these two items make a 3V better then others. In order to achieve quick heating time in these core 3V efficiency vessels you need a good amount of energy in the HLT, to heat the water supplied to the system, and you need a good amount of energy in the Boil Kettle to bring wort to the boil quickly so you can start the boil process and get that done in order to get the next batch in the boiler. 3V double batching capability is the biggest factor behind the higher percentage of commercial systems being 3V and sole reason why commercial brewers would be mad to choose anything but. At a home-brew level 3V systems are best for those brewers in a syndicate, have aspirations to pursue a start up venture or have very little time in there month to brew. Brewing can be a 4 to 5 hour process so the less you need to brew can be important to a lot of people. There are a number of other advantages to 3V brewing and Cheeky Peak staff are happy to point that out.
All the offerings under our 3V systems, whether it be No Stand or With Stand can be altered or changed to suit each brewers/brewery's needs and if you are interested in a system from us then it is best to give us a call so we can match a system for you.
Cheeky Peak 3V systems include a Hot Liquor Tank (HLT), Mash Tun and Boiler Kettle and we offer them as HERMS or RIMS systems. We offer separate HERMS systems and built in HERMS systems, both have there uses depending on the size of the system and we advise on which one is best depending on the volumes, brewers limitations etc etc. In all applications a RIMS system can be applied no matter the volumes but the restrictions of this applications depend on brewers limitations.
Our small breweries are on display in our shop and we offer snap shots of our capability online currently so please feel free to give us a buz.
