- Grainfather Brewing system
Each of the above brands are effective single vessel systems for the home brewer. Braumeister offer a 200l and 500l version and if you would like these for commercial use then please call us because we can help here as well. We currently use a Braumeister in our brewery but are changing to a 3 vessel brewery in the coming future.
Single vessel breweries are not as efficient as 3 vessel breweries but they offer advantages in terms of space. Single vessel systems produce great beer and there are ways to improve efficiency or sugar extraction from grain by using different Mash Temps, Include a Mash out process, extended Mash Periods or by adding a second vessel, a Hot Liquor Tank (HLT) so you can sparge and get all those sugars out from within your grain bed.
Cheeky Peak offer great pricing and advice that is second to none on the use of the Grainfather, Guten and Braumeisters as well as full training brew days if required. In our view the best of these systems are related to the cost of each of them. For best value for money single vessel systems you should also consider looking at the Australian invention of Brew In A Bag (BIAB) and the different systems we offer for those (Can be found in All Grain Starter Kits). BIAB systems have a number of items that can be used for other functions in the brewing process, i.e fermentation temperature control etc. BIAB vessels and it components can also be included in a higher producing 3 vessel system and they do not form an over priced item within the 3 vessel system.
