NANO-X NextGen 150L SV – Coming Soon
Design Brief & Our Goals with NextGen:
- Create a NextGen SV that is different to all others and not one of those that copies with a few gimmicky add-ons
- A system with unrivaled temperature maintenance or control over the mash bed, recirculating wort and the boil
- Ability to be used with a basic Inkbird controller as well as our NANO Boss range
- A system that achieves subtle and even heat transfer over the entire mash bed to counteract temperature over shoot from basic controllers
- A system that reheats wort when wort is recirculating through external pipe work. The goal here is to have the same temperature wort going back on top of the mash bed that has left from the bottom of the mash bed. Design that holds consistent mash temperature from the top to the bottom of the mash bed
- Create a system that shows exiting/returning recirculating wort temperature as well as the bottom of vessel wort temperature so the brewer can tune or balance both temperatures entering and exiting the system
- A system that does not require a cheap basic insulation jacket. Those insulation jackets that conceal the wonderful shinny SS that every brewer loves. We want those crap jackets to be a thing of the past, they look crap, they get dirty and they are another thing to clean. Piss off insulation jackets!
- Thick and durable high quality SS construction that lasts the test of time and a busy brewery environment
- Adjustable legs to alter height and remove the need to bench mount the system
- Caster wheels for relocation during brewing, cleaning and storing
- A system that has the ability to mash, ferment and distill on grain
- Create system that you can also ferment in and control fermentation temperature both ways (heat & cool). Pressure fermenting is not included in the brief but fermenting for beer styles where pressure fermenting is not key is included
- Full electric system allowing flexibility of elements used to suit customers needs or limits. 10amp through to 30amp elements
- Remove the need to clean elements or create a system where element maintenance is required every 10th or 20th brew
- A properly concealed element. Not one attached to an SS floor that eventually forms part of an element. We will produce a system with 0% chance of any sugar discoloring or scorching
- Advanced heating capabilities
- Advanced and more efficient wort chilling capabilities. A system with chilling capabilities and heating capabilities built in. Remove the need for external chillers where cleaning is made more difficult, connecting and disconnecting is a chore, and extra storage space is needed.
- Hard plumbed system
- Hard plumbing that does not restrict pump flow in order to maximise wort transfer speed and pumping distance to Unitanks/ Fermenters
- Large pump to enable fast transfer to Unitank/ Fermenters and transfer over a further distance
- A system with whirl-pooling capabilities at the twist of a valve
- A system that is very simple to remove grain and clean
- A SV Malt Pipe that can be manually lifted out but also has previsions for attaching winch cables or pulley systems
- Create a malt pipe that is one piece and can be tipped up-side-down without parts flying out
- A Malt Pipe that can rest on top of the main vessel as you sparge or drain
- A malt pipe that has ports to attach both sparge plumbing and recirculating plumbing without having to remove one to attach the other
- Minimize wort losses to maximise fermentable product. We want very little losses in the system and zero losses in all the pipe work of the system as well as pipework to the fermenters
- A System that includes Clean In Place (CIP) set up
- A SV system lid that can be left on the system when mashing and still have the ability to monitor the mash bed without removing it
- A system that is true to NANO-X and that is, a piece of equipment that can be used in a 2v or 3v if the customers brewing hobby or needs evolve over time
- Create a system with adjustable re circulation pipe work to allow for smaller and larger batches
- Create a system that can do smaller and larger batches with ease
