Vol.2 – 125L NANO-X 2V TWIN
This NANO-X 2V Design is like nothing we have seen in the brew system market! With its unique 2V manifold system, twin pumps, twin touchscreen controllers, your brew day is going to be as smooth and efficient as it has ever been! Everything in this system is all you need to get brewing… no requirement for an additional HLT vessel is needed.
This NANO-X design is aimed at the café styled breweries who want production volumes of up to 100L without compromising space or the features that allow you to produce the highest quality beer. We had a strong goal to make sure that all vessels required were included in this system …The NANO-X 2V Twin has everything ready to produce 100L of finished wort.
It was essential with this design that we pushed the boundaries with quality, functionality and affordability…. The NANO-X 2V Twin has achieved this plus so much more!
Single Batch Concept:
The NANO-X 2V Twin is unique in design and operation. With only 2 vessels required (Mash Tun & Boil/Sparge Kettle), the system runs in a “figure 8” pattern. Starting with the total water requirements split between both vessels, wort is simultaneously run from the Mash Tun into the Boil/Sparge Kettle and back from the Boil/Sparge Kettle into the mash tun.
The process runs through this figure 8 cycle until both kettles reach an equilibrium pre-boil gravity target. Once this point is reached, the Boil/Sparge kettle pump is stopped and all remaining wort from the Mash tun is transferred into the boil kettle.
At this point your brew day runs as normal and integrates the unique NANO-X 2V Twin Manifold System to allow whirlpooling, chilling and fermenter transfer at the turn of a valve.
Double Batch Concept:
In order to double batch on the NANO-X 2V Twin, run the first batch as explained in the “Single Batch Concept”. For the second batch we have created a step-by-step, however, both the first and second batches can be done using this Double Batch Concept.
- Once all wort from the first batch is crossed to the boil kettle from the mash tun, remove all spent grain and rinse out the Mash Tun
- After preparing Mash Tun fill to required strike water volume for the second batch
- Heat water to strike temperature required for second batch. Once at strike temp for the second batch, the first batch should be at boil temp and boiling in your Boiler Kettle
- Strike grains into the Mash Tun with 30 to 20 minutes left in the boil of the first batch
- Recirculate using the Mash Tun pump back into the Mash Tun for the Mash Period of the second batch, Do not do figure 8 for second batch just recirculate in the Mash Tun only
- Complete the first batch boil and chilling process whilst the second batch is going through its mash period
- Transfer first batch into the fermenter and then remove boiler for a quick rinse out. Place boiler back into its position and fill with total water required in order to complete the sparging process. Heat water to sparge temperature.
- Once at sparge water temperature, begin the “figure 8” process as explained from the single batch concept. Once at your pre-boil gravity target stop the figure 8 process and transfer wort into your boil kettle.
- Go through the boil and chilling process as normal for your second batch.
125L NANO Electric Mash Tun: NANO Mash Tun powered by a 4500W element and controlled via the touchscreen technology controller. Mashing temperature is controlled with ultra-high accuracy through the advanced temperature control algorithm capability. Advanced control features such as automated step mashing, ramp rate delays are all available with the intuitive touchscreen controller. The Mash Tun Pump is also operated via the touchscreen controller with the simple touch of a button.
The 125L Mash Tun is fitted with the NANO GrainStopper False Bottom. The intuitive design of this False Bottom covers the entire floor of the mash tun to allow wort to draw from below the false bottom. This design also allows for the element to be inserted below the false bottom with full protection from grain contact. The entire outer leg ring base is perforated so if grain slips through the top, the outer ring will stop any grain entering the pump. There is also an inner ring base to provide extra support to prevent false bottom from caving in.
125L NANO Boil/HLT Kettle: NANO Boil/HLT Kettle is powered by a 5750W element and controlled via the second touchscreen technology controller. Voltage control is integrated into the controller system to allow you to fully control the boil rate and avoid any boil over issues.
Boiler timers/alarms can be set to cue any important addition times throughout the boil process. The Boil/HLT pump is also operated via this second controller with the simple touch of a button.
Pro-Domed Recirculation Lid: Create the ultimate control for your mash recirculation using the NANO Brewery Pro-Domed Recirculation Lid.
Constructed from solid 304SS, this domed lid sits securely onto your NANO 125L Mash Tun and is fitted with an internal 304SS Shower Head Spray Ball. This NANO designed shower ball is constructed with 1.5mm holes and positioned to allow for gentle and even recirculation throughout your grain bed.
NANO-X 2V Twin Manifold System: Exclusively designed for ultimate flexibility in your brewing. With the simple turn of a valve, the functional design allows for in-line mash recirculation, whirlpool operations & fermenter transfer. Constructed using high quality 304SS fittings with integrated flex line to allow for flexible positioning of pumps and equipment on your brew stand.
High-Performance Pumps: The NANO-X 2V Twin gets nothing but the best… that’s why we’ve included 2 x high performance curved blade impeller pumps. These pumps can handle up to 21ft of head pressure for optimal performance. The Stainless-Steel Pump Head is tri-clover fitted which fully dissembles in seconds for easy cleaning.
The linear flow valve provides superior flow control so you can precisely control your mash recirculation flow rate. The air vent valve allows fast & efficient priming of pumps so you can avoid any airlocks. A fully rotatable pump head mean you have the flexibility to position your pump where best suits.
Touchscreen Technology Control System: The NANO-X 2V Twin is integrated with 2 x high precision touchscreen technology controllers. Each of the Boil/HLT & Mash Kettle is fully operated (elements & pumps) by the touchscreen control system.

304SS Tri Clover Build: All kettles built from 1.2mm thick 304SS. Constructed with a triple base bottom for optimal heat induction and distribution across the base. Each vessel contains 1 x welded 2” Ferrule to simply attach heating element.
