1.5″ Tri Clover Anti Vacuum Valve Assembly
This negative pressure valve is designed with a spring – loaded mechanism. Once negative pressure arises inside the container and its value surpasses the pre – determined allowable limit set for the negative pressure valve, the valve disc, overriding resistances like spring force, opens automatically. Immediately, external air rushes into the system at a rapid pace to counterbalance the negative pressure differential within the system. As soon as the negative pressure inside the container gradually drops to the acceptable level, the valve disc, impelled by the spring force and other contributing forces, closes automatically, thus blocking any additional air from entering.

USES:
Use this item when using the jacket on our NextGen SVs & Water Jacketed Boilers to cool wort. As you are chilling using the jacket of these vessels the jacket sections are closed which can cause a Vacuum in the jacket. This item will allow air into the jacket when the jacket starts to require it.
