To Fit this Agitator dished vessels you will need the below domed vessel lids (sold separately):

• 150L NANO-X 3.0 Domed Copper Lid (99.9% Copper) – Now come with handles
• 150L NANO-X 3.0 Domed 304SS Lid – Now come with handles
• This Agitator also suits all older model domed lids sold
• DIY your own bracket to fit the Agitator to your kettle if you wish

Additional accessories recommended (sold separately):

• 8″ to 4″ Tri Clover Concentric Reducer with 1.5″ Top Tri Clover Outlet. This item can be used as a funnel for adding ingredients to the selected vessel. This reducer can simply be Tri Clover clamped to the view port of any of the above domed lids or Water Jacketed Distilling/Wort Boilers.

Agitator:

Throw away your Mash Paddle as we now have a range of Agitators to suit all our vessels. By using a an Agitator you will be able to increase sugar extraction from grain, stir boiling fluid, stir fermenting fluid or wash being distilled. Our very popular Agitators can be used in the manufacturing of so many food and beverage products.

This Agitator comes with 1 X Adjustable stirring blade and powered by 240v 10amp single phase power socket. Additionally, this Agitator has a 304SS shaft and the stirring blade is also constructed from 304SS.

Why use an Agitator:

• Perfect for Mashing in as there is no longer a need to stir your Mash which enables the brewer to better control or test mash PH.
• Where there is a need to increase Mash efficiency and at the same time reduce Mash periods to 30 minutes
• Perfect for those distillers wishing to mash ferment and distill on grain
• Perfect for preventing scorching in boilers where a lot of pulp or botanical are use
• Perfect for preventing boil overs  or foaming of a distillers wash

How to use an agitator when making beer:

1. Set propeller 10 to 15cm from the base of your grain bed.
2. Before mashing in turn on your agitator
3. Mash in and let your agitator stir your grain & water mix for 20 minutes then shut your agitator off
4. Commence re-circulation and continue until the wort clears (10 minutes) and then start your spurge and Mash wort transfer to your boiler

How to use an agitator when mashing, fermenting and distilling on grain

1. use the agitator for 30 minutes to stir then grain and then chill the mash after 30 minutes and continue to run the agitator
2. Once mash is chilled add yeast as the agitator continues to stir
3. 15 Minutes after yeast pitch switch your agitator off
4. During the 3 to 4 days of fermentation run your agitator 3 times a day for 15 minutes
5. During distillation it is a good idea to run your agitator for the entire period and also run it during wash removal from your boiler
