Get the ultimate in ABV output control over your reflux still when distilling on your Turbo 500 with our Turbo 500 2″ Reflux Condenser attachment.
This adapter kit for your Turbo 500 not only enables the distiller to attach a Turbo 500 Reflux Still to our Pro NANO Boilers it also enables the distiller to remove all packing from there still. Removing packing from your Turbo 500 Still enables you to run the still as a pot still and do faster stripping runs (produce low wines), basically making the the Turbo 500 a dual purpose still.
Removing packing and adding a reflux condenser at the bottom of the column also gives you strict control over ABV output of the still. Meaning you can run no water through the Reflux Condser and run the still faster to get lower ABV for brown spirits or stripping runs or send water through the Reflux Condenser at a desired rate to achieve any desired ABV output you require.
A number of our Pro StillFlex packages come with a StillFlex Reflux Condenser. Control the amount of reflux you get with this 160mm 304SS condenser by simply increasing or reducing the flow rate of water through the condenser.
The adapter kit supplied also enables the Turbo 500 still to be attached to a Mangroves Jacks 25L boiler, Digi Boil and other cheaper boilers on the market.
Please Note: We recommend applying a 2″ Sight Glass under this reflux condenser so you can view the amount of reflux your getting, depending on the waterflow rate you set. A 2″ Sight Glass on your still lid will also enable the distiller to see if the boil rate is causing foaming and coming up to the still column.
