400 Micron 304SS Mesh Distilling Basket: Suit 36L Vessel
Welcome to our newly designed Distilling Basket for NANO Distilling Boilers up to 125L. The design of the new NANO Distilling Baskets meet the requests of several NANO Distilling Boiler owners who wanted a much bigger botanical basket to sit within a vapour path and not directly within the wash of their boilers.
There are many little domestic offerings for Gin or Spice caddy’s, these offerings are simply too small and can hardly hold anything. For this reason Cheeky Peak has now fixed this issue for its NANO owners and have created a basket that sits within the vapour path and can hold a massive amount of botanicals, basically more than enough to properly vapour infuse your Gin, Vodka, Rum and any other variant your looking to flavour or spice.
The NANO Distilling Basket is constructed from 304SS Stainless 400 Micron Mesh. The basket has long legs to raise the basket up into the top 3rd of your boiler as a distiller’s boiler should only ever be filled to 2/3 of its volume. Raising the basket into the top 3rd of the boiler has enabled botanicals to sit above the wash of NANO Boiler kettles. By creating a Botanical basket like this we have massively increased the amount of space to fit botanicals, basically created a mega Gin/Spice Caddy that sits within the vapour path and above the wash.
We have tested the 36l version offered here and loaded the basket to the rim with beer hops and we could fit 3kg. This basket can do super concentrated flavour run of spirit to mixed with other spirit to balance flavour and have optimal space for adding the desired amount needed to add the desired amount of flavour to your spirit.
