NANO-X 170L Dished Brew Kettle
Welcome to our all new 170L NANO-X Dished Brew Kettle. Cheeky Peak Brewery has developed and sold brew kettles for over 12 years now and in true Cheeky Peak Brewery style we have continued to further develop and evolve our kettles to bring more functional usability as well as never loosing sight of quality as compared to our competition. Our kettles will outlast you and yes you pay more but with NANO-X you get quality and something you can work with and evolve, not something you are stuck with, this is key to Cheeky Peak Brewery’s goal as a company.
The new dished kettle range brings years of evolution to the forefront. We have continued to apply more durable thicker stainless steel (SS) to the construction of our vessels as others have gone the opposite way. We have continued to persist with Tri Clamp fittings as they are the toughest and most durable for a busy and hectic brewing environment and flexible on what or how they can work for brewery. We have added more Tri Clamp outlets to our kettles to enable further accessories to our kettles which make a brewers life easier.
Tri Clamp fittings are like Lego for adults and from them you create so many things to make your life of brewing so much simpler, they also enable your system to evolve and change to suit your brewing needs whilst on your brewing journey. Other off the shelf systems that are cheap offer very little in terms evolutionary possibilities. Further more we have added strong legs, where wheels and leveling feet can be applied thus removing the need for brew stands and making your system easily relocatable where space is limited. Cheeky Peak Brewery has added tough silicon dipped handles to our kettles enabling them to hold up to 300kg of weight, so they are not snapping off.
NANO-X Dished Brew Kettles are named as such as the base of the brew kettles are dished. Dished based vessels allow for complete draining without lifting and turning up-side-down. Dished vessels also make storing your kettle completely dry easier and this is important as water alkalinity can damage stainless.
Normally if you are shopping at Cheeky Peak Brewery and buying a NANO you are upgrading, what we call, spending twice. This kettle can easily be converted into a single vessel system and with other kettles and accessories it can become a 2V or even a 3v. A brewer and craft beer rarely have a destination so match your equipment that also has an unlimited destination so you can enjoy the journey.

Most importantly Tri Clamp fittings are not limited to just Cheeky Peak, meaning they are better competitively priced and you are not locked into us as supplier if you do not wish to. 1.5″ Tri Clamp port on all dished vessel lids. They call these CIP Vessel Lids and some companies sell them as extra’s but at Cheeky Peak Brewery they come standard with all dished vessels
1.5″ Tri Clamp 304SS Dump Valve Assembly is included (1.5″ Tri Clamp Butterfly Valve, 1.5″ Tri Clamp 90 degree elbow with clamps and seals)
2 X 2″ Tri Clamp Element ports to enable the brewer to add, not just one element, two elements allowing for faster heating where required. Additionally, being able to easily install and remove elements, by simply UN-clamping them, makes them simple to clean and easy to replace where required. This feature is important as other companies offer vessels that have fixed elements which are simply not practical and cheap for a reason
The leveling feet supplied with the kettle can be changed to wheels that can be screwed in to the kettle legs (sold separately as not all brewers need wheels) for ease of moving when full or empty. You might have to move the kettle to a separate dumping area or a different cleaning area, your fermenter/s might be in different locations, adding wheels can help you in so many ways.
Built on welded 304SS legs alleviates the need for brew stands or extra brew benches that take up space in your shed or house where space might be limited
